I Can't Explain a Spike Up Like This. SHORT IT!

What's up with all the hits on my blog? Was it my call for 1380 on my weekly update post? Or, was it some spam comment on a post that I deleted? Anyhow, I will now have to monitor each comment before I allow it to be posted. Sorry for the trouble, the only other way I can avoid spam is to take this blog private and only allow those I want to view it access. Maybe that's what I'll do.

Comments:
I'd like to think it's because I added your sight to my daily schedule of visits page. You deserve some recognition. You do good work.

This past 9 months has served me well. The amount of time I've spent since 1999 looking over charts and creating my trading plan is paying off. I took the words of my dad (read my 1st post on this blog) along with xerox pretty well destroying my retirement plan, to realize that I must take control of my own destiny. I've made 2 trades on the xerox portion of my 401k this year and booked $16,000 in profits. Not to bad for not being able to time the markets. I really have never used your spread sheets or even attempted to learn what the heck you know. The reason I read your blog is to get a feeling of what's eating at your gut! I'm not sure when or if I'll ever make it back to your part of the country, but if I do, I'd like to visit with you over lunch or a round of golf. The 1st 3months of this year as been a challenge but also very rewarding. I've been able to keep 2 kids in college ,along with making major repairs to our house. Kyle my oldest is a classical guitar major and has done very well thus far. This spring he will perform in Austin for the Southwest Classical guitar forum. My daughter,Kassie, is majoring in French, and I'm trying to talk her into a minor in finance. She's got the eye for detail in reading the charts.Enough bragging, now back to the markets.
For what it's worth, I've made fewer trades and made more money this year with less effort than ever before. But, at the same time risking much more capital. That tells me I've learned to trust myself. That's a very good feeling!

I forgot to mention, this month I was also preoccupied with my designing of a "Shared Water Well Lawn Irrigation System". Everything looks great so far. I may apply for a patent!
